Today my mother, Mrs. Irene Gaines Jones would be 93. As an elementary school teacher and librarian she was a lover of the arts and nurtured my sister Betty’s passion for theater and mine for the visual and literary arts. I hold that trust close as I send out queries and submissions for my debut novel, Peach Seed Monkey.
